Curtin University of Technology PhD student Shaji Mathews is the recipient of a renewable energy scholarship valued at $20,000 per year.
Provided by Perth-based renewable energy systems developer Regen Power, the scholarship will help Mr Mathews conduct research into renewable energy supply for remote locations. Read more

Mining Australia  - 02/07/09
An advanced hybrid power system devised by Perth-based Regen Power was recently installed at the Eco Beach Wilderness Resort near Broome that could provide mining companies in remote areas of Australia with a less expensive way of generating their power.
According to Regen, the automated solar and diesel system can be monitored from thousands of
miles away to optimise power input and output, helping to reduce costs. Read more

AN INITIATIVE to harness renewable energy to power phone towers in remote areas will be the focus of a Government-funded partnership between a local company and a Curtin University masters student.
Canning Vale-based company Regen Power was the first organisation to be awarded funding under the Australian Government's $10 million dollar Researchers in Business program.
The company received $50,000 to employ Curtin University mechanical engineering masters student Anil
