The Solar Credit scheme is now available; save up to 50% of your solar power system cost!
The Solar Credit Scheme was pased on the 20th of August and allows small generation units to generate 5 times the RECs for the first 1.5kW. The price of RECs varies over time and fluctuates in relation to the number of RECs available on the market - just like shares. A Renewable Energy Certificate was valued at $50 earlier this year but that value fell to $38 in July after the $8,000 rebate scheme was terminated. A REC is now valued at $35.
